Free cable cars, swimming pool, gorges, cave and public transport

In summer all Pechtlgut guests receive the Salzburg Saalachtal Card free of charge.

This means all our guests have free entry to/use of: 

• the swimming pool in Lofer
• the Seisenberg and Vorderkaser gorges 
• the Lamprechtshöhle = cave
• the Almbahn cable cars 1 and 2 (once per day)
• the public transport in Pinzgau = all public busses and trains in the region of Zell am See plus the bus line 260 into the City of Salzburg
• the AlmErlebnisBus = bus between Weißbach and Ramsau through the National Park Berchtesgaden

The two cable cars will bring you right onto to the high meadows of Almenwelt Lofer on 1500 meters. Enjoy the fresh air at altitude or walk up to one of the nearby summits.

In hot weather, there’s nothing better than a dip in the crystal clear, refreshing water. The Steinbergbad Lofer with its outdoor pool is just a 2 minutes’ walk away. 

It really pays to visit the Vorderkaserklamm and Seisenbergklamm gorges or the Lamprechtshöhle cave. All these imposing natural attractions are just a few kilometres from your apartment.

You can enjoy all of this free of charge – every day – as often as you like! (once a day)
