Arriving in the heart of Lofer.
Right in the centre of Lofer, yet pleasantly quiet.
The best way to get to the Pechtlgut is by car or or by using the Mobility Ticket, which is included with your stay and gives you free access to public transport throughout the Salzburg region. Once you’ve checked in, there’s plenty you can easily explore on foot. Restaurants, cafés, bakery, supermarkets, shops, and the bottom station of the Almenwelt Lofer - everything close by.

From Munich via Traunstein (toll-free)
A8 Munich-Salzburg Highway – take the exit Siegsdorf/Traunstein - via the German Alpine Road to Schneizlreuth – towards Lofer – at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit towards Innsbruck – after 100 m, turn right onto “Einfahrt Süd” – turn right at “Wirtshaus Zum Schweizer” – You’ll find the Pechtlgut on the right-hand side
From Munich via Tyrol
A8 Munich-Salzburg Highway – to the Inntal interchange – A93 towards Innsbruck – exit 59 Oberaudorf – via Kössen – Erpfendorf – to Lofer – take the entrance “Einfahrt West” – follow the road for 400 m – You’ll find the Pechtlgut on the right-hand side.
From the East via Salzburg
Take the A1 West Highway Vienna to Salzburg , exit at Wals/Lofer, then follow the B1 or B178 to Lofer—at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit towards Innsbruck—after 100 m, turn right onto “Einfahrt Süd”—turn right at “Wirtshaus Zum Schweizer”—You’ll find the Pechtlgut on the right-hand side.

If you’re traveling by train, we recommend these nearby stations:
- Salzburg Central Station (approx. 45 km away)
- Bad Reichenhall Central Station (approx. 25 km)
- Saalfelden Station (approx. 25 km)
- St. Johann in Tirol Station (approx. 25 km – Mobility Ticket not valid here)
From there, you can continue your journey by public bus or taxi. The “LOFER Mittelschule / Tourismusverband” bus stop is about 500 m from the Pechtlgut.

Free bus travel from Salzburg Airport to Lofer
You can also reach the Pechtlgut in Lofer from Salzburg Airport in less than one hour by using the free Salzburg Mobility Ticket and bus line 260. The “Lofer Mittelschule / Tourismusverband” bus stop is about 500 m from the Pechtlgut.
